| HARRASSOWITZ Charleston Conference Scholarship 2022
|
HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to award the 2022 Charleston Conference Scholarship to Liladhar R. Pendse, Ph.D., MLIS, Librarian for Slavic, East European and Central Asian Studies and Librarian for the Caribbean, Latin American and Latinx Studies at University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Pendse was awarded the $1,000 scholarship to attend the conference, which takes place November 1-4, 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina.
In support of the 2022 conference theme of “Oh, the Places You'll Go!”, applicants for this year’s scholarship were asked to submit a short essay on the topic What does “Oh, the Places You'll Go!” mean to libraries and vendors?
Judging the submissions were Laura Sill, Head of Acquisitions at The University of Chicago Library; Trey Shelton, Head of Acquisitions & Serials at University of Georgia; and Justin Clarke, HARRASSOWITZ’s Director of Sales and Marketing for North America.

Wir freuen uns, Ihnen den diesjährigen Gewinner des HARRASSOWITZ Stipendiums für die Charleston Conference vorzustellen: Das Stipendium im Wert von $1.000 geht an Liladhar R. Pendse, Ph.D., MLIS, Librarian for Slavic, East European and Central Asian Studies and Librarian for the Caribbean, Latin American and Latinx Studies der University of California, Berkeley.
Herr Pendse hat damit die Möglichkeit, an der vom 1. bis 4. November 2022 in Charleston, South Carolina, stattfindenden Konferenz teilzunehmen.
Gemäß dem Motto der diesjährigen Konferenz, “Oh, the Places You'll Go!", wurden die Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten gebeten, einen englischsprachigen Aufsatz zum Thema What does “Oh, the Places You'll Go!” mean to libraries and vendors? einzureichen.
