We are pleased to inform you that we have expanded our services in the field of sheet music. In cooperation with the renowned publishing house Breitkopf & Härtel, we now offer the opportunity to purchase exclusive authorized copies that were previously only available as rental material.
These unique custom prints comprise mainly contemporary composers and have been carefully selected by our experts at HARRASSOWITZ in close cooperation with Breitkopf & Härtel. The collaboration between HARRASSOWITZ and Breitkopf & Härtel on this project began in 2023 and has since produced an impressive selection of custom prints which continues to be expanded.
Breitkopf & Härtel, founded in 1719, is the oldest music publisher in the world. As early as the 18th century, the publishing house dealt with important composers and continues this tradition today. HARRASSOWITZ is proud to partner with Breitkopf & Härtel in the field of authorized copies.
An overview of Breitkopf & Härtel titles that are now available as custom prints from HARRASSOWITZ can be retrieved in Fokus, the HARRASSOWITZ system for acquisition and management of scholarly resources, using the search term "Breitkopf" and limiting the publication type to "Custom Print".
