| HARRASSOWITZ Charleston Conference Scholarship 2023
|
HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to award the 2023 Charleston Conference Scholarship to Jessica Macaulay (MLIS., MSC., B.A.), Acting Team Lead and Acquisitions & Circulation Specialist at St. Mary’s University Library, Calgary, Canada.
Jessica Macaulay was awarded the $1,000 scholarship to attend the conference, which takes place November 6-10, 2023 in Charleston, South Carolina.
In support of the 2023 conference theme of “Let the Good Times Roll!”, applicants for this year’s scholarship were asked to submit a short essay on the topic What does “Let the Good Times Roll!” mean to libraries and vendors?
Judging the submissions were Laura Sill, Head of Acquisitions at The University of Chicago Library; Trey Shelton, Chair of Academic Research & Consulting Services (ARCS) for the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida; and Justin Clarke, HARRASSOWITZ’s Director of Sales and Marketing for North America.

Wir freuen uns, Ihnen die diesjährige Gewinnerin des HARRASSOWITZ Stipendiums für die Charleston Conference vorzustellen: Das Stipendium im Wert von $1.000 geht an Jessica Macaulay (MLIS., MSC., B.A.), Acting Team Lead und Acquisitions & Circulation Specialist at St. Mary’s University Library, Calgary, Kanada.
Jessca Macaulay hat damit die Möglichkeit, an der vom 6. bis 10. November 2023 in Charleston, South Carolina, stattfindenden Konferenz teilzunehmen.
Gemäß dem Motto der diesjährigen Konferenz, “Let the Good Times roll!", wurden die Kandidat*innen gebeten, einen englischsprachigen Aufsatz zum Thema What does “Let the Good Times Roll!” mean to libraries and vendors? einzureichen.
