| Belles Lettres Authors Lists

| HARRASSOWITZ has recently updated its Contemporary German Belles Lettres Program with a revised list of authors.
|
First compiled by HARRASSOWITZ in 1971, the author list is updated periodically and has been extended once again to include more than 101 new authors.
The HARRASSOWITZ Contemporary German Belles Lettres Program is an approval plan based on an author list of approximately 1400 renowned novelists, poets, and dramatists writing in the German language. Dedicated specialists at HARRASSOWITZ curate and categorize the literary works and criticism of contemporary living authors into three levels of coverage: Comprehensive List of Authors, a Selective List of Authors and a Core List of Authors. Our trained selectors constantly monitor prize-winning authors and those whose work is positively reviewed in literary sections of prominent newspapers to support the HARRASSOWITZ Belles Lettres service. Customized lists for your library are also available.
Some changes to your approval plan may occur as new authors have been added to the list while others have been moved up a category due to their growing prominence. However, if you are currently using a self-defined list of authors, there will be no changes to your plan.
The latest authors lists are available in OttoEditions under the Approval Gateway.

| HARRASSOWITZ has recently revised its list of 20th and 21st Centuries Composers.
|
This updated list is now being used as the basis for selecting materials for your contemporary music scores approval plan.
The HARRASSOWITZ 20th and 21st Centuries Composers List has been in existence for 50 years. Today, more than 4,000 composers are noted. The list is continuously updated and is both a comprehensive listing of contemporary composers and an invaluable resource for collection development.
Some changes to your approval plan may occur as new composers have been added to the list while others have been moved up a category due to their growing prominence in the music scene (a list indicating the changes made from last year is available upon request). However, if you are currently using a self-defined list of composers, there will be no changes to your plan.
The updated list of contemporary composers is available in OttoEditions, the HARRASSOWITZ online system for managing book and music scores acquisitions, under ”Music Scores Approval Plan and New Title Announcement Program” in ”Approval Gateway”.
