The 2019 Music Library Association (MLA) Conference will take place at the Union Station Hilton in St. Louis, Missouri, February 20-24, 2019.

HARRASSOWITZ is once again sponsoring the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS) Online Course “Fundamentals of Electronic Resources Acquisitions (FERA)”. Held five times during 2019, the course is open to anyone interested in electronic resource acquisitions. No prior experience is required. The course provides a basic background on acquiring electronic resources, including product trials, licensing, purchasing methods, and pricing models, and also covers the relationships among vendors, publishers, platform providers, and libraries.

2019 Sessions:
• Session 1: February 11 – March 8
• Session 2: April 15 – May 10
• Session 3: July 15 – August 9
• Session 4: September 16 – October 11
• Session 5: November 4 – December 6
